Duties:

• Handle insurance coverage disputes and litigation cases with a focus on professional liability, general liability, and D&O policies.
• Draft, review, and analyze legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
• Provide legal advice to clients on complex insurance coverage issues and risk management strategies.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and approaches.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and mediation.
• Prepare and present oral arguments in court proceedings.
• Maintain and strengthen client relationships through high-quality service and timely communication.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation.
• Proven experience with insurance policies, including professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers coverage.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal matters and provide innovative solutions.

Education:

• A J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to practice law in the jurisdiction of Washington, DC, or eligibility for admission by reciprocity.
