Duties

• Assist clients with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) involving insurance and reinsurance.
• Handle regulatory matters related to insurance transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate life and annuity agreements.
• Collaborate with legal and business teams on strategic transactional matters.
• Provide high-quality legal advice and solutions tailored to client needs.
• Work as part of a team to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in insurance M&A, reinsurance, regulatory matters, and life and annuity agreements.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Strong interest in M&A insurance and a commitment to professional development.
• Experience in a peer law firm is highly desirable.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited U.S. law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to the New York State Bar or eligible for waiver into the New York Bar.
