Corporate Counsel
The candidate will negotiate and/or draft a wide variety of commercial agreements including vendor and revenue generating agreements. Prioritize and manage deadlines in a fast-paced work environment. Develop and maintain expert and current knowledge on new developments and legal guidance relevant to our businesses, services and technology. Build critical relationships with sales and legal colleagues and key stakeholders to effectively provide practical legal and strategic advice to assist the business in meeting its objectives. Advise on recommended courses of action and legal risks. Ability to judge when to escalate identified issues as may be necessary. Drive and contribute to other interesting legal projects as needed. Exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as drafting and negotiation skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to maintain strong working relationships with internal clients. Sound and practical business judgment including flexibility, creativity and good judgment in managing legal risks. A JD from an accredited law school. State Bar membership in good standing. Should have 1-3 years of experience as a practicing attorney in a law firm and/or comparable in-house legal department.
