Tax Partner- Real Estate Private Equity
The candidate will perform partner-level compliance review and tax return signoff. Handle client consultations on planning opportunities and changes in tax law. Work on proposals and assist in developing new business. Meet prospective clients and develop relationships with new and existing clients. Expand services to existing clients. Supervise engagements and special projects undertaken by the firm. Oversee all aspects of client engagement. Supervise, train and evaluate advanced-level staff. Coach, mentor and assist staff so they can develop and assist in the growth of the tax function. Maintain knowledge of new tax issues and general business trends that affect the client. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field and CPA or JD. Should have 15 + years of progressive tax experience, 2+ years as a Partner or Director at a public accounting firm, and 10+ years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates. Experience working with real estate private equity clients is required. Master’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field. Experience acquiring new clients and growing a book of business.
