ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: \u2022Participate in and practice all aspects of the MarkWest Safety Program \u2022Sample products, perform tests, record data, and write operations logs, complete perimeter checks \u2022Visually inspects equipment at periodic intervals to detect malfunctions or need for repair, adjustment, or lubrication \u2022Performs minor maintenance on and lubricates process, loading, and unloading equipment \u2022Assists in the shut down and startup of facility \u2022Initiate maintenance work orders \u2022Shut down, isolate, and prepare process units or production equipment for maintenance \u2022Issues Work Permits and performs LOTO \u2022Participates in Process Hazard Analysis, PSSRs, and MOC process \u2022Ensures environmental compliance in areas of responsibility \u2022Samples and analyzes all unloads \u2022Participates in on the job training to meet the qualifications of an Operator B and Truck Loading \u2022Assists in writing operations procedures, maintains logs, P&ID reviews, and other record keeping for Process Safety Management \u2022Monitor truck rack and plant CCTV security system. Report and record any breaches of protocol. \u2022Operation of Truck Loading\/unloading and Trans loading \u2022Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations \u2022Performs other duties as directed or requested by supervision SUPERVISORY DUTIES: None JOB QUALIFICATIONS: \u2022 A minimum of a high school diploma or Post-Secondary Certificate and may require some vocational training or job-related course work. \u2022 Some previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is preferred \u2022 Must have strong understanding of the plant process and all plant equipment. \u2022 Self-motivated with the ability to work well with others \u2022 Strong organizational skills \u2022 Ability to motivate others \u2022 Ability to prioritize and execute many tasks at once \u2022 Ability to work in a team environment with shared responsibilities and to participate in training other personnel.
