Under the direction of the Facilty General Manager you will consult and coordinate with the Evening (PM) Operations Manager and works closely with Dispatchers and Delivery personnel to ensure our packages are delivered on time!\u003c/p\u003e

\u003cli\u003eRecord line haul time of arrival, destination, cargo, and departure time and expected arrival time at the next destination.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eSupervise the daily functions of the PM personnel to ensure timely completion of the PM Operations.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eInterpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eAnalyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving problems. On rare occasion may need to deliver delayed packages to customers.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eInitiate or suggest plans to motivate Package Handlers to achieve their goals.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eAdminister discipline and counseling as appropriate to foster optimal performance of employees.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003ePrepare multiple business transaction/efficiency-related reports on a daily basis.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eOversee the recruiting, interviewing, screening and selection processes of the\u0026nbsp;PM staff.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eAssign vehicles to routes according to factors such as length, trip purpose and freight requirements.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003ePerform any other task or assignment as deemed necessary by the organization.\u0026nbsp;\u003c/li\u003e

\u003cli\u003eHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) at a minimum\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eFive years lead or supervisor experience, three in similar industry; or equivalent combination of both education and specific work experience.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eThree years of industry experience; or less with Bachelor\u0026rsquo;s Degree.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eKnowledge of branch routes as well as driver and customer base.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eMath skills \u0026ndash; ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eAbility to compute and apply concepts to practical situations.\u003c/li\u003e

\u003cp\u003eOur warehouse environment has moderate noise levels, you\u0026rsquo;ll be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle packages on occasion. The physical activity associated with this position is considered higher than normal operations manager roles.
