This senior analyst position will be responsible for forecasting the census/enrollment and financial performance of an integrated care management program responsible for thousands of patients with kidney disease across the country. In addition to advanced modeling, the position will be responsible for working with business/clinical stakeholders to develop and present actionable insights to senior leadership. Top candidates will have a strong analytical mindset and technical toolkit, with the ability to build professional relationships with and explain financial analyses to an audience of diverse backgrounds.
The position is part of a small but growing analytics team that is constantly seeking to improve its capabilities and efficiency. Intellectual curiosity, the desire to pursue new skills, and willingness to contribute to the team's development are highly valued.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive.
Build, continuously improve, and have accountability for models forecasting program census and financial performance
Maintain annual budgets and track monthly performance
Identify gaps in business performance and recommend strategies for improvement based in data
Partner with operations to provide analytical support to program enrollment and census growth strategies
Run ad hoc financial analyses requested by business leadership
Supplement standard analytics with statistically and/or quantitatively driven insights to further drive the teams understanding of the results.
Formulate data-driven solutions/recommendations and presents to business/clinical leadership
Prioritize individual project workflow while providing necessary updates to senior management.
Manage projects independently and routinely interacts with internal business and clinical partners.
Support the analytics team in developing new tools and analytic capabilities to enhance efficiency and quality of deliverables
Education, licenses, certifications, and experience required to fulfill the essential duties, include computer skills as required.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in financial planning & analysis
Familiar with intermediate to advanced forecasting techniques
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
Bachelor's degree in finance or another quantitative field
Experience with VBA
Experience using R, Python, or another programming language for statistical analysis
Familiar with data processing and warehousing processes and tools

• Minimum of three (3) years' healthcare reimbursement experience preferred ; experience with admissions, billing, and collections preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of insurance rules, regulations and Coordination of Benefits for federal, state, and managed care payors in multiple states preferred
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required
