BASIC REQUIREMENT OR INDIVIDUAL OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENT:

In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below:

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-07, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes Knowledge of logistics management and organizational principles, including standardized administrative practices and procedures common to the organization or area of responsibility. Knowledge of command logistics plans for mobility, deployment, contingency and related readiness programs within assigned areas. Knowledge of and skill in applying conventional methods to gather, analyze, and evaluate factual information concerning the effectiveness and efficiency of logistics processes, draw conclusions, and recommend appropriate action.

OR

EDUCATION: I have successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B or J.D. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position. NOTE: You must submit copies of your official college transcripts.

OR

COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: I have less than the full amount of specialized experience described in the job opportunity announcement; however, and I have at least one year of progressively higher level graduate education, but have not obtained a master's or equivalent graduate degree. Therefore, I have a combination of experience and education. Note: You must submit a copy of official transcripts.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:

\tKnowledge of wing logistics plans for mobility, deployment, contingency and related readiness programs.
\tKnowledge of logistics principles, practices, policies and data systems in order to analyze, validates and coordinates the requirements of the functional areas.
\tKnowledge of qualitative and/or quantitative methods to assist in the assessment and improvement of logistics plans and programs.
\tKnowledge of and skill in applying conventional methods to gather, analyze, and evaluate factual information concerning the effectiveness and efficiency of logistics processes.
\tKnowledge of the procedures and regulations applicable to the proper execution of support agreement.
\tAbility to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and maintain good working relationships.

Other significant facts pertaining to this position are:
1. This is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position. The incumbent is required to meet and maintain Air Force Reserve requirements. Work schedule will be aligned to allow incumbent to fully participate in unit training assemblies (UTA). The incumbent's regular assignments are ART duties; however, the incumbent may be assigned some non-ART duties, generally not to exceed 30 percent of total responsibilities.
2. May be required to fly in commercial and military aircraft to perform temporary/permanent duty assignments.
3. Performs other related duties as assigned.

PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.

VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
