2020 fellowship

The candidate will work on litigation combatting the epidemic of wage-theft faced by immigrant workers in California. Cases consist of both traditional wage-and-hour litigation and the innovative use of commercial debtor-creditor law and corporation’s law to unwind corporate fraud, enforce wage judgments and attack schemes use by businesses to evade liability for wage claims. Work entails all facets of litigation including drafting pleadings, client interaction, strategy formulation (and implementation), legal research, discovery and shadowing attorneys inc ourt or deposition as available. Spanish, Korean or Mandarin language capacity strongly preferred.
