Develop and manage polices and strategies designed to improve profits via pricing decision-making. The Pricing Manager will lead Liberty Hardware as we progress into the next level of pricing strategy, by mastering the tenants of Pricing, Gross-To-Net and Promotional theory. This position will take key findings from Retail pricing as
we expand modeling and philosophy into the Bath & Cabinet Hardware product segments, along with other emerging products and apply this knowledge to the brick and mortar and on-line markets.
This position will approve & maintain pricing templates or other pricing models/systems that may be implemented in the future.
Work closely with Sales, Product Marketing and Finance to develop profit maximizing pricing strategies.
Have a deep understanding of customer’s pricing motivation including shelf pricing strategy, expected margins, manufacture balance, and what Key Performance Indicators and goals your customers are incentivized on.
Responsible for developing financial modeling, customer & product profitability reporting, financial statement analysis, and decision modeling to support strategic initiatives.
Develop Key Performance Indicators to monitor effectiveness of overall pricing program.
Ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies and techniques to drive sales and improve marketing efforts
Deep understanding of strategy and industry trends allows you to run what-if scenarios and advise decision makers on the results.
Present price strategy recommendations to executives, marketing teams, selling and financial teams on a regular basis.
Develop an expertise in the pricing, promotion and profit maximization models to teach others at Liberty Hardware including a spectrum of colleagues from: Senior Analysts, Product Managers, to Executives.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field required. Master degree preferred.
5 years’ experience in Accounting and Financial roles.
3 or more years of practical Pricing and Promotions modeling experience with experience in either: statistics, economics, retail, omni-channel, showrooms or hardware trade segment.
Excel, PowerPivot, Pivot Tables, Vlookups, Visual Basic, Macros, ToolPak, Excel modeling.
