The Estates and Facilities directorate is seeking to appoint a part-time Estates and Projects Support Assistant (Sustainability). This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, organised and motivated individual, to join our sustainability team and help to take forward the University’s sustainability projects, as well as working with the administrative support across the Directorate. The Estates and Facilities directorate is a busy, customer focused environment and under the guidance of the Head of Sustainability, you will be responsible for collating and processing information and documents, including for financial and energy use information. Core duties of this role include: producing conciliations; working with customers and suppliers to deal with enquiries and requests; taking minutes; maintaining and updating specialist databases including for energy and waste; and dealing with data processing for large data sets, for example utility invoicing and meter reading. Requirements for the role are set out in the job description and person specification. This post will be located in 11 Kirkby Place but please note, due to the COVID-19 pandemic the University is currently implementing a number of safety measures as per Government advice therefore the successful applicant may be required to work from home in the first instance. This is a part-time position working 30 hours a week on a fixed term basis until 31 July 2022 to cover a period of absence. Secondments should be agreed in advance with the current line manager.
