Billing Specialist
The candidate will review monthly pre-bills for clients and attorneys. Edit pre-bills and work in coordination with the billing staff. Communicate with attorneys and clients who require special terms and adjustments. Verify accuracy of billing and supporting documentation of write-offs per firm policy and make corrections as necessary. Electronically redact and transmit client invoices. Input disbursement charges monthly. Scan invoices and other documents. Perform e-billing. Mail monthly client invoices and reminder statements. Other accounting duties as assigned by Finance Director and Billing Manager. Should have 2+ years of e-billing experience. Some billing/accounting experience in a legal environment is preferred.
