Responsibilities: Continual review and management of case files. Prepare initial discovery, i.e., interrogatories, request for production, request for admissions. E-File in both State and Federal Court systems.  Journal deadlines for responses and monitor for timeliness. Prepare draft responses to discovery, including document productions and corresponding privilege logs. Prepare legal documents such as subpoenas, briefs and pleadings. Prepare case and medical chronologies, agreements, deposition summaries/abstracts and trial binders for use by attorneys. Investigate facts as requested by attorneys. Ensure proper indexing and filing of original legal documents. Trial preparation – expert research, prepare trial binders, exhibit lists and binders, trial subpoenas, engage in witness management; schedule trial testimony and other related arrangements, as needed. Attend trial as necessary.
