Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.TasksElectrician positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. You must be able to set up, adjust and break down production line machinery and related electrical equipment. Responsible for performing electrical repairs and preventative maintenance of all plant equipment, such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, production machines, and all facility electrical systems. Must be able to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system. This position works in a cold, damp, hot and humid environment with slippery surfaces. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing pulling and reaching are required to include work on ladders. Must be able to lift 70 lbs. on a daily basis and be able to work on your feet for a period of 12 hours.RequirementsElectrician positions require three years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
