Overview
The Financial Services Accounts Payable Lead is responsible for managing the vendor invoice processors and resolution specialists on a day to day basis, as well as developing policies and procedures to help steer the team forward in accordance with the department\u2019s and company\u2019s goals and objectives.  The FSS AP lead is responsible for coaching and developing team members to ensure they have the resources and knowledge needed to meet or exceed internal customer and external vendor expectations while minimizing the financial risk.

Ensure a positive customer experience from the SLAs in place, monitoring ongoing issues and providing training and resources as needed.
Vendor updates are completed both promptly and accurately.
Vendor applications for both supply and equipment accounts are processed in a timely manner to comply with Patterson Companies policy.

Self-Management:  Understands how to efficiently manage their time by scheduling appropriate amounts of time to complete assignments, acting without procrastination, and focusing on the most important items first, and sets a positive example for team members.
 
Performance Management and Coaching:  Oversees employee\u2019s work; assigns, delegates, and prioritizes work according to experience and skills of employees and holds each employee accountable to their metrics.  Coaches proactively and utilizes best practices to create a supportive and energized work environment with effective talent management.  Develops and implements appropriate metrics for each role, in each group that will support a positive vendor experience.  Understands what performance issues need to be addressed and how to deal with them in a suitable manner at the appropriate time.
 
Talent Management:  Understands that they are only as good as the team they build, and they do what they can to develop the abilities of the individual team members.  They identify exceptional personnel who have potential for developing into future leaders and mentor those employees so they can take on additional responsibility.  Builds an exceptional team by hiring the best candidates available.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor\u2019s Degree
Strong customer service orientation
Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization
Requires a consistent, positive attitude and respect for high quality standards
Takes accountability and leads with integrity
Highly self-motivated and directed
Ability to lead multiple teams
Excellent organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous management experience
2 years of experience with a Shared Service environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to ensure the department meet or exceed vendor expectations
Strong organizational, attention to detail and task follow-up skills; adept at handling multiple assignments in a timely manner and meeting assigned deadlines
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
