The Manager, Wellness Coaching & Delivery supports health promotion and disease prevention and care management services. The Manager, Wellness Coaching & Delivery works within specific guidelines and procedures; applies advanced technical knowledge to solve moderately complex problems; receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines approach, resources, schedules and goals.
Responsibilities
The Manager, Wellness Coaching & Delivery explains, educates, reinforces, and coaches members on their tailored self-help plans. Identifies problems, sets goals, and determines the individual's health status based on assessment. Establishes goals for each individual regarding educational and health care needs. Communicates with primary care and/or treating physician to request specific health information and/or to provide an update of an individual's health care status. Decisions are typically related to resources, approach, and tactical operations for projects and initiatives involving own departmental area. Requires cross departmental collaboration, and conducts briefings and area meetings; maintains frequent contact with other managers across the department.
Required Qualifications
Bilingual English and Spanish
Bachelor's Degree
2 or more years of management experience
Experience with leading and managing teams
Ability to communicate effectively to leadership and various business partners
Ability to work well in ambiguous situations and collaborate with multiple associates from other teams
Experience developing associates (helping to create individual development plans and identifying career progression activities)
Self-directed with the ability to work well with little guidance in a fast paced environment
Strong presentation skills
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field
Registered Nurse
Proven project management skills and experience
PMP and/or Six Sigma certification
