Job Title: Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:

A prominent law firm based in Orlando, FL, is actively seeking a seasoned Litigation Attorney to handle a docket of high-value personal injury matters. This role involves managing all phases of litigation from case intake to jury verdict. The ideal candidate is trial-ready, adept at complex litigation strategy, and brings a strong record of successful outcomes in state and federal courts.

Duties:

• Conduct initial client meetings and initiate litigation by filing lawsuits

• Manage discover,y including drafting, responding, and document review

• Schedule and conduct depositions of parties, fact witnesses, and experts

• Identify, retain, and depose expert witnesses

• Represent clients in court for hearings, motion practice, and pre-trial conferences

• Participate in settlement negotiations and mediations

• Develop and implement trial strategies and lead courtroom proceedings

• Draft post-trial motions and support the appellate processes as needed

• Collaborate with litigation team members and participate in internal strategy meetings and file audits

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Florida

• Demonstrated expertise in personal injury litigation

• Minimum of two jury trials served as first chair attorney

• Capable of managing a demanding caseload independently

• Ability to lead and supervise litigation support staff and paralegals

• Proficient in legal research, drafting, and oral advocacy

• Strong negotiation and client-relations skills

• Confident courtroom demeanor and a passion for trial work

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Must be admitted to the Florida Bar and in good standing
