First Line Risk Manager
Duties: Partner with business units and operations to design and implement efficient operational procedures and processes related to regulatory compliance, primarily focused on deposit products, mortgage lending, and consumer lending. Develop and implement automated, preventative controls. Monitor and analyze existing and proposed banking regulations to assess potential impact on residual risk, bank processes and/or customer satisfaction. Work closely with L&D on strategy and development of training for the line of business and operations teams. Work with centralized departments, including Corporate Compliance, Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Audit and Process Improvement to achieve consensus on regulatory risk issues and effective risk mitigation. Conduct exam management through communication with bank examiners, auditors, and the bank management team. Develop and monitor action plans regarding regulatory compliance findings. Conduct periodic review of processes and coordinate communication of updated procedures to impacted areas. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of banking laws and regulations. Advise on QA processes and monitor results of key controls. Develop and monitor action items pertaining to consumer complaints. Develop change management processes. Own regulatory compliance policies that pertain to all lines of business. Maintain awareness of and adherence to Bank’s compliance requirements and risk management concepts, expectations, policies and procedures and apply them to daily tasks. Deliver a consistent, high level of service within our Serving More standards.
