The candidate will work closely with paralegals and senior partners to ensure swift action through the civil litigation process. Ensure clients are effectively represented at court hearings as needed. Handle the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings as needed. Four year degree with a legal background and J.D. degree is required. Should have 1-2 years of working in a law firm on family law issues as well as real estate (determining marital property). Must have 3+ years of worked on family law issues. Member of the State Bar of Michigan is required.
