Contracts Attorney
The candidate will work primarily with sales team along with product, marketing, engineering, communications, customer support, and client relations teams, and will be required to assist in a wide range of subject matters. Work within the Company PPM Legal Department to help, draft, review, revise, and negotiate non-disclosure agreements, enterprise contracts, software and SaaS, supplier contracts and related support and services agreements and data protection agreements; along with any amendments required to the agreements listed above. Review and negotiate routine sales and supplier contracts. Review and respond to request for proposals. Act as a trusted legal advisor as part of the business teams' efforts to establish, evaluate, and expand business relationships. Provide business teams with day-to-day legal perspective and guidance, as well as risk assessment and mitigation. Contribute to the continuous development and improvement of legal strategies and processes. Provide advice and support directly to business leads and technical specialists on a range of legal and business issues. Support various projects such as, but not limited to: improve contract templates, provide internal training, maintain/organize contract repository. Advise on the structure of legal agreements with internal stakeholder teams, including sales, business operations, legal, and finance. Collaborate with sales, finance, business operations, and product teams regarding contract reviews and related processes. Respond to inquiries on contract interpretation. Provide general legal support to internal stakeholder team. JD required; MBA Preferred. Admission to the Florida Bar and in good standing; 5+ years of relevant legal experience Hands-on project management experience, including excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage a large number and variety of mission-critical projects, while working independently and in a fast paced environment. Outstanding negotiation, communication, and drafting skills. Very strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work in a team, communicate effectively with a wide variety of people, collaborate within the Company PPM Legal and Order Fulfillment team and diverse business groups, and build interdepartmental relationships at all levels. Technological experience with software, cloud computing, SaaS, or digital technologies is preferred. Understanding of CCPA and GDPR would be helpful.
