Job Details:

Lead (1st Shift) – Full Time – Dallas, TX 75237

This position starts at $18.75/hr. We have an open position for 1st shift as a Lead.

Offering $1000.00 dollars sign-on bonus paid out after the completion of 6 months of employment

Job Duties

Inspect area at the start of the shift and report any deficiencies to the supervisor

Assign team members their daily responsibilities

Direct team members to assure they are in their areas and working safely

Monitor all breaks to assure team members are going and coming back on time

Monitor peelers, Pac mac, box machines and robots and communicate with maintenance when equipment is not running properly

Responsible for daily SSOP checks for stick length

Will document all activity and time of process onto paper and computer

Good attention to detail for completing required paperwork for USDA and company record keeping

Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

3 months work experience

Ability to perform basic math functions (adding, subtracting, fractions, etc.)

Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed

Must be able to reach high and low levels, frequently

Must be able to lift 60 lbs. with or without help

Must be able to push and pull the equivalent of 600 lbs. on rail system

Must be able to stand on hard surface for up to 12 hours per day

Must be able to communicate orally with all levels of Team Members and possess critical problem-solving skills

Bi-lingual is preferred

Applicant must currently be forklift certified or able to get certified

Ability to work in cold and damp environment
