Corporate Counsel
The candidate will demonstrate strong overall legal support to management and staff in contract reviews, risk management, research, trainings, and other legal functions with initiative, professionalism, and leadership. Review, draft, and negotiate engineering and consulting contracts, Master Service Agreements, a broad spectrum of subcontracts, commercial office leasing and other commercial agreements. Provide advice and guidance to staff members in negotiating and interpreting client contracts and subcontracts to ensure contractual terms are protective of the company’s interest. Work with General Counsel on resolving legal disputes and claims, participate in legal proceedings, manage outside counsel. Assist the General Counsel with timely response to subpoenas and represent the firm in depositions. Advise corporate department, management, and staff of applicable regulations related to the company’s methods of business. Develop risk management, contracts, and training programs. Should be Licensed attorney. Should have excellent written and communication skills. 3-5 years’ experience as in-house counsel for consulting firm or law firm with relevant practice. Experience with interpreting and negotiating commercial contracts.
