Domestic Tax Planning Manager, Other Bets
The candidate will lead a broader tax team in structuring, analyzing, and reviewing legal agreements for internal domestic restructurings and external fundraising. Will act as the tax point of contact for Other Bets, Alphabet finance, and tax specialists to understand business plans and provide tax advice. Research federal income tax implications related to domestic transactions and operations, present recommendations to finance, legal, and business partners, and build and maintain processes and controls. Educate cross-functional teams in finance and at Alphabet about tax risk and issues related to domestic transactions. Draft and/or review transaction memos, and research and analyze the latest developments in U.S. tax legislation.
