Legal Counsel - Regulatory & Property Counsel Gaming
The candidate duties will include : To perform, at the direction of a designated Vice President & Legal Counsel and other senior department attorneys (as applicable), professional legal work related to State's gaming and related regulatory compliance and other assigned matters for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. and subsidiary organizations. Other duties : To communicate and coordinate with Nevada Gaming regulators on day-to-day regulatory matters including regulatory complaints and other communications, self-reports, and investigations; Collaborate, support and advise senior property management, gaming leadership personnel and other relevant personnel on gaming and related regulatory and compliance matters; Assess applicable gaming and other laws and regulations for possible changes and reforms; Attend gaming regulatory hearings to represent MGM properties and executives; Work directly with the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB), by preparing NGCB requests, for casino and sportsbook promotional approvals as well as prepare internal procedures and MGM Gaming applications for submission; Other miscellaneous legal work as assigned, including contracts and other transactional work, casino hotel support, support of the Compliance Department, etc. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Must have (4)+ years of progressively responsible regulatory/compliance legal practice (law firm, regulatory agency, in-house). Must have Juris Doctor Degree and Nevada Bar Admittance. Preferred: 3+ years of casino regulatory/compliance experience from a top law firm and/or a gaming regulatory authority; Contract or transactional experience; Hospitality/gaming experience and In-house experience.
