Regional People Partner - West Coast
To support, collaborate with and advise Regional Restaurant Managers and Area Directors in Employee Relations, HR Related Manager Training and Development, HR Compliance and other related work. Includes frequent travel.
Wage & Hour Compliance: In collaboration with the Regional HRBP and Compliance Manager; advises and facilitates HR training of Regional Managers & Area Directors in oversight and ensures management compliance, with all state and federal wage and hours laws.
Employee Relations: Responds to ER issues for their region, identifies trends, management issues and escalations - Collaborates with Regional HRBP and Area Directors, training; how to conduct investigations, when to escalate to the HR Team, how to document and conclude.
Management Guidance: Provide sound guidance to Restaurant Managers on all HR related questions and concerns from discipline and terminations to wage and hour questions to coaching and leadership development.
HR Training: Conducts regular in person and scheduling and driving awareness/attendance for webinar HR trainings for all regional managers. Identifies opportunities for additional manager coaching and development.
Regional HR Support: Key contact for all Regional HR inquiries. Work closely with the Home Office in facilitating resolutions or redirecting appropriately. Includes technical HRIS support in WorkDay and Payroll related support (in partnership with payroll team).
Project Management for HR Initiatives: Responsible for executing and driving assigned project work to support the HR Team.
Starting salary: 70-85k DOE Annual Bonus
Skills & Experience
At least 2 years of related work experience
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or Business
HR Generalist in Hospitality or Retail 0-2 years
