Conflicts Analyst

The candidate runs timely, accurate, new client business, supplemental, pre-clearance, pending laterals, business development, and other types of conflict of interest requests. Understands legal conflicts, related ethical rules and current developments; review conflict requests and obtain clarity on parties and positions; performs data analysis and identify possible issues. Communicates and disseminates conflicts of interest information, following up with lawyers and others as needed to handle all due diligence and ensure that files are complete and up-to-date. Creates and reviews conflict of interest reports for clients and new matters using Intapp Open. Assists in training and troubleshooting with attorneys and administrative assistants on the functionalities of Intapp Open. Tracks waivers, engagement letters, and captures institutional knowledge discovered during conflict searches. Monitors matters in Intapp Open and follows up on pending matters. Maintains and updates conflicts database. Provides support to attorneys and others regarding ethical walls. Conducts research using third-party business resources (e.g. Westlaw, Bloomberg Law, etc.) for all new clients. Actively maintains working knowledge of the applicable rules of professional conduct, client relationship considerations, and related developments. Provides leadership and evaluates ways to innovate areas of responsibility. Participates in or manages special projects and performs other duties as assigned. Overtime and/or “after hours” may be required on occasion. Other duties/tasks as assigned. Should have 2+ years of experience related to the duties or skills described herein or direct conflicts experience in a law firm. Experience with lntapp New Business Intake and Conflicts is preferred. Law firm experience highly desired.
