Houston office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an immigration associate attorney with 1-2 years of experience (employment-based preferred). The candidate will track on close-rate and lead quality metrics. Accompany clients to interviews at the USCIS Field Office and Asylum Office. Along with the Lead Attorney, represent clients in proceedings and appeals. Prepare briefs, cover letters with legal analysis and arguments, motions and immigration packets for submission, as needed. Under direct supervision of the Lead Attorney, review for quality, give feedback and sign immigration packets, motions and briefs. Support both Dallas and Houston offices. Network with attorneys in other practice areas to build reputation and referral base. Research and technical legal writing. Keep abreast of the current changes in immigration law. Train and coach paralegal and legal assistants to help them grow their knowledge of the practice area. Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred. Texas License is preferred. Must have a JD or LLM. Must have an advanced understanding of business processes and revenue generation.
