Joining the Secret Service, Office of Investigations, Investigative Support Division will allow you to perform a wide variety of financial management analysis; implement accounting and budget theories; and develop financial management plans for the Division. Typical work assignments include:

Supporting management and senior-level stakeholders on financial management and budget execution for division programs.
Collaborating with the appropriate stakeholders in developing solutions and resolving budgetary and financial management issues.
Conducting cost analysis; tracking audits; and lodging and travel expenditures using various automated systems for payment and transactions.
Preparing and analyzing financial information and the potential effects of budgetary action on program viability and attainment of program objectives.
,qualifications:GS-12: You qualify for the GS-12 level (starting salary $86,335) if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level performing duties such as: executing and monitoring division programs and special events budget; recommending allocation adjustments to deal with changing situations such as varying costs for equipment, services and changes in availability of funds; identifying and resolving discrepancies over funding issues; and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on financial and budgetary plans.
Time-in-Grade: Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service.
Qualifications Must Be Met: The qualification requirements listed above must be met by the closing date of this announcement.The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) must authorize employment offers made to current or former political appointees. If you are currently, or have been within the last 5 years, a political Schedule A, Schedule C, Non-career SES or Presidential Appointee employee in the Executive Branch, you must disclose this information to the Human Resources Office.
