Frontier Communications is seeking a Digital Designer to join our growing Digital Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of user-centered design, typography and visual design. This role will collaborate across cross-functional teams to translate brand strategy and creative direction into engaging and beautiful digital experiences.Primary ResponsibilitiesTransform high-level business needs/requirements into intuitive and engaging creativesParticipate in design scrums to explore new visual directions and ideasCreate wireframes, information architecture documents, comps and prototypes to present to stakeholders across the organizationCreate mock-ups and grid-based layouts that adhere to the Frontier brand standards and features of a websiteStay current with latest UX best practices, benchmarking against various websites to maintain a library of compelling and effective designsContribute new ideas to drive digital style guide and design system developmentWork with and through cross-functional teams to execute digital initiatives that meet and support corporate objectives.Effectively manage multiple design projects and associated timelines concurrentlyProactively drive innovation with new ideas and options made available by new technologiesJob Requirements5 years of relevant experience designing web-based, mobile and desktop applications, Design Agency experience a plusBachelor's Degree in Graphic/Web Design, New Media or related fieldExceptional design skills with a strong portfolio of creative workDemonstrated experience applying user-centered design methods such as user research, personas, information architecture, wire framing, rapid prototyping and usability testingFluency with HTML5, including creating prototypes across different media platforms such as tablets, mobile and web; experience with CSS (bootstrap)Knowledge of human interface guidelines, standards, best practices and emerging technologiesExperience with Sitecore a plusExpert level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator)Strong passion for design, art, and photography with genuine desire to do great workDiverse portfolio displaying excellent creative range and innovative thinkingProactive, self-starter mentality with strong work ethic and ability to learn quicklyAbility to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative, and geographically dispersed environmentDemonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities while meeting deliverable datesStrong communication and relationship building skills; able to effectively work cross-functionally with peers or external stakeholders to gain consensus when needed
