Principal Consultant, Transmission Routing / Siting

Duties: Manage and provide technical expertise on transmission line projects for various clients with complex technical/regulatory issues. Oversee multiple projects within the client’s scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables. Direct routing and siting studies, analyses, and report development. Appropriately delegate project assignments to project teams and mentor junior staff. Serve as siting and environmental permitting expert; prepare/deliver expert witness testimony at evidentiary hearings. Participate in agency meetings and public open house events. Work with the Company’s other resources to deepen relationships with the Company’s key clients and establish new client relationships that result in significant net revenue growth. Prepare technical proposals and participate in business development with existing clients and identified leads. Lead, manage performance, inspire and mentor personnel for the overall success of the technical team. Build strong collaborative relationships with other the Company’s employees. Meet business health & safety performance standards, financial targets, overall project budgets and schedules, client satisfaction/expectations, and internal risk management and contractual requirements.
