Polsinelli has one of the largest health care practices in the U.S. with 23 offices and is currently seeking a junior level healthcare associate to join our national healthcare practice. Minimum qualifications include 2 years of experience in healthcare. Consulting or other practical and operational experience is a positive. Candidates should be motivated, self-starters with demonstrated interests and experience with the application and implementation of one or more of the following to healthcare law areas of specialty: healthcare fraud and abuse laws (i.e., federal anti-kickback, Stark and CMP provisions); HIPAA and health care system operational contracting , Medicare ACOs and other payment alignment systems, Medicare enrollment, billing and reimbursement; transactional support for healthcare M&A deals. The successful candidate will benefit from immediate client contact in a dynamic practice group as a part of a collaborative firm and learning environment. Polsinelli is particularly interested in those candidates who have the ambition, drive and team-orientation to help grow our national practice in healthcare with a focus on health care providers. Candidates may be located in any of the firm’s offices, but should have excellent academic credentials, experience in a law firm or similar environment and superior writing, communication and problem-solving skills.
