A law firm seeks a mid-level Real Estate Associate in New York, NY. The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of experience focusing on leasing and acquisitions, including ground leases and transactions in retail, industrial, and warehouse sectors. This role involves supporting a major national client in a dynamic, high-volume practice.

Duties

• Manage real estate transactions for retail, office, and industrial properties.
• Negotiate and draft lease agreements and purchase contracts.
• Handle commercial real estate matters, including property transactions and due diligence.
• Lead and support complex leasing transactions, such as ground leases.
• Conduct due diligence and title/survey review for acquisitions.
• Coordinate with teams on environmental, survey, title, zoning, and permitting matters.
• Manage client communications on high-volume matters.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions.
• Experience with national retail clients or institutional landlords preferred.

Education

• JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice in New York.
