Job Details:

SUMMARY: This job is responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards of products produced. Other responsibilities include production paperwork verification; production floor checks; performing GMP and housekeeping audits; responsible for Team Member food safety and safety training. Work activities are variable and require judgment to complete tasks such as setting priorities, evaluating results, coordinating with others. This position is responsible for food safety, food quality and legality.

REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree, special training, vocational school and/or college courses is preferred.

Experience: Prior FSQA experience required. 2 plus years in a food manufacturing environment preferred. Prior supervisory and Lab experience preferred. HACCP certified preferred; must have broad knowledge of HACCP, USDA, GMP, SSOP’s.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills for creating simple queries spreadsheets, etc. SAP knowledge preferred.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills verbal and written; bilingual a plus.

Supervisory: This position is responsible for supervising a small group of personnel who perform somewhat similar tasks.

Travel: 1-5 trips per year.

Position-Specific Requirements: Weekend work required.

This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only. Priority consideration will be provided to these applicants first. If local Team Members are not selected, Team Members from other locations will be reviewed for consideration. If no successful internal candidates are selected, external candidates will be considered.
