The candidate's responsibilities include: Preparation or review of documents for real estate transactions, including assisting with the drafting of purchase and sale agreements, leases, and other transaction documents; Due diligence reviews of property documents, surveys, title insurance commitments, and leases; Pre-closing and closing management, including preparing and managing closing checklists, settlement statements and closing binders along with post-closing management and project close-out; Reviewing and revising title and survey documents, including reviewing title examinations; preparation of legal descriptions. The position requires an understanding of and experience with commercial real estate transactions, as well as excellent technical and organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to work in a team setting. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Prior commercial real estate experience in law firm environment preferred. Excellent writing and interpersonal communications skills required. Strong project management skills with attention to detail and deadlines required. Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize project requirements required. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a client service focus required. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel required.
