Associate Director, Supply Chain Counsel

The candidate will operate as Operations' legal point of contact during negotiations on assigned matters: develop negotiation strategies, evaluate risk exposure, negotiate, draft terms, and reach a successful resolution with vendors on a timely basis. Make recommendations to various stakeholders in the Otis supply chain regarding contractual risks that create legal and business exposure for Otis, facilitate internal review of issues and coordinate management/legal resolution. Provide strategic and practical legal advice and subject matter expertise on a range of relevant procurement-related legal, regulatory and operational matters including supplier risk management, Conflict Minerals and Anti-Human Trafficking compliance and related regulatory matters. Develop templates, training, playbooks, and other tools/technologies and share best practices with internal stakeholders to drive efficiency across the supply chain organization through the contracting cycle.
