Duties:

• Handle a caseload of insurance defense matters.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to develop effective case management strategies.
• Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance adjusters to negotiate settlements and resolve disputes.
• Prepare for and represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.
• Stay informed about legal developments and trends within the insurance industry.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida Bar and in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing insurance defense law.
• Minimum of 1 year practicing first-party property law.
• Strong knowledge of Florida insurance statutes, regulations, and case law.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in using legal research platforms and case management software.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
