Detailed Description ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:\r
1.      Compiles and analyzes financial information and prepares journal entries to general ledger accounts to documenting business transactions.\r
2.      Analyzes monthly financial accounts: P&L, assets and liabilities; prepares balance sheet reconciliations and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position for managers.\r
3.      Manages fixed assets to insure assets are properly approved and recorded, confirms when assets are placed in service and begin depreciation, manages asset disposals and coordinates external asset audits.\r
4.      Maintains cost accounting system tables. Monitors and controls additions and modifications to standards and costing system. \r
5.      Monitors and audits manufacturing bills of materials, routers, and related components.\r
6.      Analyzes monthly manufacturing costs variances, and inventory valuations/balances and obsolescence recommending changes for improvement\r
7.      Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures.\r
8.      Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.\r
9.      Reviews accounting systems and accounting control procedures making recommendations for improvement.\r
10.  Makes recommendations regarding the accounting of reserves, assets, and expenditures.\r
11.  Conducts studies and submits recommendations for improving the facility's accounting operation.\r
12.  Prepares monthly bank reconciliation.\r
1.      Performs additional duties as directed.\r
Job Requirements Qualifications\r
1.      Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\r
1.      Solid working knowledge of MS Office products including Word, Excel, Access and Outlook Express and SAP. \r
2.      Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions; works well in group problem solving situations; uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.\r
3.      Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; responds promptly to customer needs; solicits customer feedback to improve service; responds to requests for service and assistance; meets commitments.\r

5.      Prioritizes and plans work activities; uses time efficiently; plans for additional resources; sets goals and objectives; organizes or schedules other people and their tasks; develops realistic action plans.\r
6.      Displays original thinking and creativity; meets challenges with resourcefulness; generates suggestions for improving work; develops innovative approaches and ideas; presents ideas and information in a manner that gets others' attention.\r

4.      Visual Acuity:  Closely viewing in order to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.\r
