A law firm in New York City, NY, is seeking a Mid-level Restructuring Associate Attorney with 4-5 years of experience in representing and advising companies, lenders, and creditors in complex business reorganizations, debt restructurings, and financing matters. The ideal candidate should have immediate transferable skills and a strong academic background from a nationally recognized law school. Court experience is considered a plus, and the candidate must be licensed to practice law in New York. Some travel may be required.

Duties:

• Represent and provide legal counsel to companies, lenders, and creditors involved in complex business reorganizations, debt restructurings, and financing matters.
• Develop and execute strategies for restructuring and reorganization efforts.
• Draft and negotiate legal documents and agreements related to restructuring.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Appear in court when necessary to represent clients in restructuring proceedings.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
• 4-5 years of legal experience in representing and advising clients in financial difficulties, with a preference for debtor-side experience.
• Strong academic background from a nationally recognized law school.
• Court experience is a plus.
• Immediate transferable skills.
• Licensed to practice law in New York.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
