Financial Data and Reporting Analyst
The candidate will work closely with relationship attorneys, legal teams, firm leadership, and other operations departments to ensure the most effective delivery of legal work at a fair value to the clients. Support the Business Operation & Pricing team’s efforts to support attorney work with data to drive decisions They help query, analyze, and report on performance metrics of all kinds related to both legal teams and organizational performance. Enable and assist with building meaningful data visualization and business intelligence tools. Contribute to continuous improvement of the data standards and integrity. Provide analytical support to operational departments across the firm including financial data analysis and key performance indicator analysis. Contribute in the development, refinement, and implementation of performance monitoring reports including financial statements, pricing analysis and profitability forecasting. Develop dynamic models to conduct data analysis to assist in determining the impact of proposed scenarios. Collaborate with business and financial analysts across operational departments to ensure data is accessible and structured in a way that enables actionable insight for the leadership, practice teams, and operational teams. Build visualizations and dashboards to allow for easier access and interpretation of data. Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions for reporting and BI. Promote understanding of law firm performance metrics and help implement improved insight into performance against those metrics. Assist with ideation and creation of templates and tools to help standardize pricing procedures and metrics. Bachelor’s degree is required (Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Information Systems, or other related field is preferred). Should have 1-2 years Experience with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or Audit reporting in a professional setting. Should have 3-5 Years Experience with Data Analysis, dashboarding and reporting. Law firm or other professional services experience is preferred.
