Miami Dade College, North Campus is now accepting applications for Adjunct Faculty, American Sign Language/Interpretation. The Adjunct Faculty member teaches American Sign Language courses as well as Interpretation and Deaf Education courses to students in the Associate in Science program.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Teaches courses

Evaluates and advises students

Develops curricula

Requirements:

Master's Degree in Interpreter Training or Deaf Education from a regionally accredited institution, or master’s degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Sign Language or Interpreter Training for teaching transferable credit courses from a regionally accredited institution

or

Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution, plus State/National certification, appropriate experience and demonstrated proficiency may be used to qualify for teaching non-transferable credit courses.
