Description

The Lead, Portfolio Management collaborates with the business portfolio team to align the IT portfolio and demand. The Lead, Portfolio Management works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

Responsibilities

Humana is seeking a Portfolio Management Leader that:

Uses a consultative approach to partner and deliver on outcomes of strategic importance.

Organizes and prioritizes projects and programs based on Business and IT Strategy, strategic roadmap, available and prioritized budgets, schedules, and ensures that the appropriate financial and organizational support is being allocated in support of those goals.

Advises executives in developing functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance.

Should have proven ability to exercise independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and be able to work under minimal supervision.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

8 or more years of technical experience

5 or more years of project leadership experience

Large portfolio experience, including financial planning and analysis

Organizational change management and process design expertise

Relevant domain experience in cloud first programs and data and analytics enablement designed for enterprise scale

Prior experience as a people leader with multiple direct reports

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail

Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to senior leaders

Advanced experience leading special projects and producing metrics, measurements and trend reports

Relevant experience in agile ways of working, in a product focused delivery team

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Possess a solid understanding of operations, technology, communications and processes

Six Sigma certification

PMP certification

Demonstrated ability to run large scale, highly visible programs with responsibility for multiple project teams
