Duties: Become an expert in the Program in order to become the primary source for all responses to inquiries regarding the specifics of the program, both internal and external. Assist the Vice President and General Counsel in the review of health benefit plans for incorporation of Program language. Provide assistance with vendor integration and assess best practices for efficiency and collaboration. Capture updated practices and create/update Policies & Procedures. Provide support to the General Counsel in regulatory assessment/compliance in multiple jurisdictions throughout the country. Collect data on Program performance via the Electronic Medical Record and provide recommendations for reporting. Become a liaison between multiple departments in order to assess needs and identify areas for optimization. Be a team member in the hospital negotiating team. This team negotiates rates and reduces key terms to a client friendly format. Travel with the CMO to world-class medical centers as needed to document agreements.
