The candidate will work with attorneys on transaction management, including tasks in connection with document drafting, due diligence, closings, and general real estate and corporate transactions. Draft and file UCCs. Prepare for and coordinate closings including managing logistics of signature pages from various parties. Handle state filings and county recordings of deeds, mortgages and other documents in various jurisdictions both by mail and e-recording. Perform research. Maintain closing checklists. Prepare closing binders. Paralegal certificate and Four year college degree is preferred. Should have 5+ years of previous real estate experience including closings, especially in NY and NJ.
