Accounting Manager
Duties: The candidate manages complex accounting processes, accounting transactions, and account reconciliations for key areas of the Firm during the month-end accounting close cycle. Oversees and manages the accounts payable, accounts Receivable, and Payroll departments. Supervises payroll process including; semi-monthly employee payroll and taxes, processes state and federal tax payments, reviews W-2 and 1099 forms, and quarterly and annual federal and state tax returns. Provides financial and administrative information to support ongoing Firm decisions. Tracks business results and cash flow. Proactive role in the continuous improvement and development of the firm’s policies, procedures, and overall control environment, and the monitoring of compliance therewith departmental leader inefficient use of spreadsheets, report writer and other available analysis tools; continually evaluate accounting procedures, processes, and systems for improvement in order to gain efficiencies and ensure accuracy and completeness.
