Data Privacy Counsel - Corporate Functions and Real Estate Investments
Responsibilities: Advise and collaborate with internal corporate functional leaders and stakeholders in driving privacy compliance as a critical and integrated element of enterprise-level initiatives and platforms. Assist with strategy, implementation, and maturing all aspects of the CBRE Global Data Privacy and Protection Program within Real Estate Investments Business Segment, including the Investment Management business line. Advise Real Estate Investments Legal team in negotiating data processing and cross-border data transfer agreements. Advise internal clients on commercially-minded, risk-based, privacy compliance strategies to mitigate assessed risks. Create and deliver privacy training, awareness and communications programs. Provide advice and support to GDPO colleagues and cross-functional partners and stakeholders in relation to the processing of employee, client, and third-party personal data under a broad range of circumstances. Monitor and advise on emerging legal changes and regulatory developments impacting the company. Be assigned other responsibilities and duties as needed.
