Operations Center Specialist (Temp)','VEC000865','!*!This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.POSITION SUMMARY: The Part Time Vectrus Operations Center (VOC) Specialist is responsible for the operation of the Vectrus Operations and Secure Facility at Vectrus Headquarters. Additionally, tasked with daily execution during contingency or emerging requirement of the VOC SOP.  He/She reports to the VOC Chief having full authority to act in his/her absence. The capability to manage and execute multiple tasks simultaneously while providing accurate and timely communications to the VOC Chief (OCC) or the Director of Planning Operations is essential. This requires refined communication skills to coordinate with internal staff members and external partners ensuring the Vectrus Team has a comprehensive understanding of the business/operational environment. The ability to present multiple options to the VOC Chief or Shift Supervisor for recommendations to DDO or DO is a critical skill.  Attention to detail and ability to collaborate postures the organization to predict potential changes in the operational environment that might have significant impact to the company, its personnel, and/or its’ partners required. MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES: Execute established policies and procedures for performance of VOC functions ICW the VOC SOP and LOGCAP V Performance Work Statement (PWS).Maintain and update VOC Daily Reporting, correspondence and access control logs.Ensure overall compliance with security protocols established by Vectrus and the U.S. Government (USG) for use and store classified information up to and including the SECRET level. Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, DoD and Army regulations. Oversees all facets of access control into and out of the VOC.Maintain daily Battle Rhythm (BR) and recommend to VOC Chief any changes to BR based on operational tempo and/or emergent operational need. Operate in line with established quality standards.Maintain an updated approved Common Operating Picture (COP) and recommend COP modifications to the OCC. Maintain and update the daily Ops dashboard that provides a summary of the Continuity of Operation Plan (COP) with drill down links so Vectrus leadership, staff, and corporate partners have a shared understanding of the operational environment.Track Corporate Critical Information Requirements (CCIRs) using the CCIR matrix in the VOC Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and log and notify the OCC and/or appropriate leadership on any CCIR.Track and log operations specific Priority Information Requirements (PIR) and brief the VOC Chief details of the PIR providing recommended actions as required.   Maintains, enforces, and recommends updates of the VOC SOP. Assist in development, maintenance, review and preparation of the quarterly update brief of the Master Country/Regional Books (CRBs). Facilitate coordination/integration of Vectrus staff and corporate partners, into the VOC during daily operations for BR events, training, emergent operations, and deliberate planning. Support update briefs conducted in the VOC for corporate leadership or select visitors.Conduct VOC training to include: planning, transition, and integration during emergent operations conducting rehearsals quarterly.Participate in classified information security during evacuation procedures.  Execute an evacuation drill semi-annually.Remain available via mobile phone 24/7/365. Work extended, weekend and irregular shifts during key LOGCAP V events.Participate in continuity of operations plans for VOC as required.Prepare routine and regular reports based on reporting requirements matrix in the VOC SOP and LOGCAP V PWS.Confirm deploying personnel have the appropriate documentation (visas, airfares, disbursement authorities, mission essential equipment, etc.)Track and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs)Assemble and deliver CDRLs to the US Gov’t / PCO (such as PERSTAT, etc.)Perform other duties and assignments as required. MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED: Personal computer and other general office equipment; Classified computer terminal and removable drives for Vectrus Secret Internet Protocol (SIPR) operated systems.VTC and Smartboard used for planning and operations.WORKING ENVIRONMENT:Work is generally conducted in an office environment in a room certified for handling materials up to and including U.S. Secret. Duties may involve work outdoors with potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions. No Travel expected. PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES: Work may require stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, and prolonged sitting.  ','!*!MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess an active U.S. SECRET security clearance or eligible for one.Bachelor’s degree from accredited universities or colleges in engineering, business or closely related field required.Must possess excellent computer, interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills.  Experience with MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Skype for Business.Graduation from Senior NCO or Company Grade Professional Course highly desired.Prefer a minimum of 5 years of DOD company/battery/troop equivalent level or higher staff operations center experience in support of military overseas contingency operations.Desire Six Sigma or Agile certification/training (Green/Black belt).Prefer former USA mid-grade to senior NCO, with Operations, Combat Arms or Logistics/Services career experience desired.
