Duties:

• Represent property owners in landlord-tenant disputes, including court appearances and related negotiations.
• Draft and review legal documents such as motions, notices, pleadings, leases, and settlement agreements.
• Provide expert legal advice and strategic guidance to clients throughout their cases, aiming for prompt resolution or immediate trial.
• Manage a high volume of cases efficiently, ensuring timely attendance at court and return to the office.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys to address complex legal issues and enhance professional development.
• Stay updated on changes in landlord-tenant law and regulations affecting clients.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in landlord-tenant law is preferred.
• Proven ability to handle multiple cases and work effectively under pressure.
• Demonstrated expertise in representing property owners and negotiating disputes.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Strong academic credentials are preferred.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
