A law firm in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Senior Financial Services Associate Attorney with 4-7 years of transactional experience. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of syndicated credit facilities and leveraged finance transactions, excellent academic performance, and strong interpersonal skills.

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and support to clients in financial services transactions, including syndicated credit facilities and leveraged finance transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents, including loan agreements, credit agreements, security agreements, and ancillary documents.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on complex financial and regulatory issues.
  • Advise clients on legal and regulatory compliance matters related to financial transactions.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to develop and execute transactional strategies.
  • Participate in due diligence reviews and assist in the preparation of transactional documents and closing materials.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the North Carolina State Bar or eligibility for admission by motion.
  • 4-7 years of transactional experience in financial services law.
  • Working knowledge of syndicated credit facilities and leveraged finance transactions.
  • Strong academic record from law school.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality legal services and meeting client needs.

Education and Certifications:
