Job Summary and Mission This position contributes to success by assuming end-to-end responsibility for the strategic value, usability, and performance of one of our digital products. To be successful, the product manager needs to have technical acumen and a passion for delighting product users with simple solutions and engaging digital experiences.Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles. Summary of Key Responsibilities Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Manages product planning and development through day to day collaboration and decision making with a cross-functional team including architects, developers,designers and business or subject matter representatives Designs and drives usability studies to inform product requirements and influence product design and experience Defines and analyzes metrics that measure and benchmark product success Executes digital category vision by creating cross-functional alignment of priorities leading to product delivery Recommends and plans innovative products and features Drives optimization and process improvements between product, design, site management, and development teams Holds development team accountable to agreed upon development process and release schedule Maintains product backlog and leads regular prioritization with business unit owners and leadership Manages bug backlog, determines priority of bugs and which releases they are assigned to Works with larger product management organization to align on vision, strategy and roadmap\u00a0 Summary of Experience Progressive experience in managing a digital product (5 years ) Demonstrated ability to use analytics and optimization tools to inform product planning and prioritization R equired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing Consistently uses communications skills to influence outcomes Ability to influencing others without authority to get things done in a timely fashion Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines Starbucks and its brands are an equal opportunity employer of all qualified individuals, including minorities, women, veterans & individuals with disabilities.
