Attorney (Part-Time)
The candidate will review, edit and negotiate agreements, including, master services agreements and related work orders, confidentiality agreements, consulting agreements, clinical related agreements, and academic research agreements. Review, edit and negotiate agreements related to the IT, facility and general business needs of the Company. Develop, utilize and help maintain Legal department templates to draft and negotiate contracts. Serve as a point of contact for contract questions from within the Company. Work in collaboration with the contracts management team to address specific contracting issues and improve contract function generally. A J.D. from an accredited US law school. Should have 3 years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing contracts in the pharmaceutical industry. Ability to Work Independently - Able to draft and negotiate contracts independently. Problem Solving and Research Skills - Able to think creatively to find common ground in contract negotiations and ability to conduct research to evaluate applicable laws, rules, regulations and guidelines. Strong attention to detail – Focus on accuracy of details in all contracts. Team Player/Commitment to Cause – Understands the big picture and is able to manage the position’s areas of responsibility in a manner consistent with the Company’s agenda. Experience with FDA regulatory approval process for pharmaceutical products.
